An Awesome Chat with Robert Bruno (Pt.2)

Thanks for joining me again on Comic Con Addicts.  Here’s more from Robert Bruno.

Nat: As you know, Robert, I have some of your work, and it’s all awesome, especially the Captain America pieces. If it wasn’t obvious, I’m a big marvel fan. Who is your favorite marvel character to draw and which one is the most difficult to illustrate?

Robert: Thank you! I too, am a big Marvel fan. For me, Spider-Man has always been my favorite to draw or paint even as a kid. I don’t know if I’d say any are more difficult than others. From a creative standpoint, some projects just flow a bit easier and more naturally than others.

Nat: Your Spiderman artwork is totally awesome.  People really need to go to your website and see the watercolor painting you did of Spiderman. It is truly breathtaking. Honestly, Spiderman is like my least favorite hero character, and I still want to buy that painting.

Nat: Are you a big movie fan? I noticed on your website and from your FB page that you have a Director’s series. Who are these directors and are they some of your favorites?

Robert: I’m a huge fan of film. Some of my favorite directors include Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Guy Ritchie, Christopher Nolan, and Martin Scorsese.

Nat: You have really great taste in directors; those are also some of my favorite filmmakers.

Nat: Let’s kick this chat up a level. Nature vs. Nurture. Some people say that anyone can draw if that person works and practices enough. Do you believe this is true?

Robert: I do. While some will have more or a natural ability and feel for it, with practice, anyone can improve their drawing skills.

Nat: How do you like that, my former art teachers? You’re all liars! There is still hope my artistic talents will bear fruit.

Nat: Last but not least, where can our readers buy your work? And if they want to keep up with what you’re doing, where can they find you on social media?

Robert: They can visit my shop at www.brunodi.com and stay engaged with me via
