On most weekends, Ohana Comic Con is hosting events for hundreds of people who love comics, anime, and toys in cities across Central California. It’s great that con-goers will not have to wait another year to get their convention fix.
Ohana Comic Cons focus on the smaller towns that were missing comic cons. The towns with populations between 35,000 and 100,000 that weren’t having any.
In July, the Toy Anime/Comic Con is coming to Elk Grove for the first time since the coronavirus/covid-19 pandemic lockdowns and organizer Ziggy Star is hoping to see a good turnout of attendees.
Anyone who plans on going is encouraged to dress up, the Cosplay (Costume) Contest starts promptly at 2:30pm! Please see our Featured Cosplayers at the Con for the sign up sheet! All ages are welcome!!!
Vendor booths featuring artists, authors, sports cards, jewelry, comics and Legos will be present.
Masks are mandatory for all staff, attendees, and vendors. Vendors will be spaced out and the amount of attendees in at one time will be controlled to allow for physical/social distancing.
Come out and enjoy a fun, geeky day. You get to meet people with the same interests and culture. You won’t see a sad face as people are elated to be surrounded by others who like the same things, and are always excited to talk about their favorite characters. We encourage your family to visit this friendly community event where people can bond over shared interests, even among people they would not expect to be there.
